||
This 6 year old little boy was admitted to Rehoboth in September 2010. His mother could not cope with his condition. Just a few months later after his first procedure. This year he will have further treatment including plastic surgery. He is blind in one eye with limited vision in the other.. |
Forsaken but not without help - Siloam's vital support of the Rehoboth Children's Home in the Philippines "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up." Psalm 27:10 Dear Siloam friends, Rehoboth is expanding and hence the change of name to Rehoboth Sampaloc Ministries. Sampaloc in Rizal Province is where the home is located. Currently it is bursting at the seams with 28 residents so a new establishment in addition to the current one is being built this year, on land purchased across the road. A new medical centre has already been built and this will serve the community in the near future. Most of the children are rescued, abandoned or have been abused in some way. Several of our staff of 19 have been with the home since it started nearly 10 years ago. Siblings are also catered for. Fe Philips (previously Fe Canlas) is the Philippine Administrator but there is also Philippine, British, Australian and USA involvement.
